Well, the reason that this blog was created was to keep the stories of the UK Trap and Skeet club alive and thriving. If you have a story (about a girl named jessica from saigon, or some special tuck-ins), put it in the comments of this post and i will copy it into a post on the main board.

New Year

Well, a little about your new president from your new president.... For those of you who are wondering about the club, check out our website... uky.edu/studentorgs/trapandskeet My name is Matt Boettcher. I'm 19 and I've been shooting competitively Since October 2006. Before that, my first round of Trap and Skeet was in August 2006. I had never shot trap or skeet before August 2006. This may seem like a suprise to have such a new shooter as a president but I have learned so much in the last year and met so many great people. Purpose of this blog

My name is Jordan Stapp and I will soon be an Alumni of the University of Kentucky. For the past four years of study here at UK I've also had the pleasure of participating in the Trap and Skeet Club. Over the years I've traveled around the country with members of my club participating in shoots and fundraisers. I have numerous memories from those various events, and I only regret that there wasn't a forum such as this to record the stories and accomplishments of those involved in the club.

I hope this blog will allow future members to record what it is they accomplish, not just tournament results, but also the stories and relationships that are built from participating in this club.

I don't want the experiences of the roadtrips and the bonds created on those long drives to die out. I want to build a history, a sense of tradition that members years from now can tap into and be proud of. (well, mostly proud of at least. lol)
